Broderick Motors - Throughout the Years
Our business, situated in Parkes New South Wales, began in the early 1940's with Jack Broderick who started a small trucking business. He took on half of the General Motors' franchise selling Bedfords and Vauxhalls, but in 1955 was given the full franchise to sell Holdens. Jack started selling cars from his trucking business workshop but soon found that he had to expand his premises as car and truck sales took off.
Things really went ahead and by the 1960's a glassed-in showroom was constructed which faced on to the intersection of Clarinda and Mitchell streets. This was officially opened in 1966.
We have estimated that we have sold over 10,000 new cars since 1955.
Andrew Broderick, Jack's son, took over the business several years prior to his fathers' death in 1996. Due to ongoing business success another showroom was needed and was officially opened in May 2000.
In July 2003, Andrew took over Parkes Nissan & Parkes Hyundai (formerly Bob Barter Nissan & Hyundai).
The dealership was rennovated in 2006 and boasts a more modern showroom, parts and service facilities and as always the best range of new and used vehicles for you.
